By accessing or using our Website (https://hnmovers.com/) or any of our services—including agreeing to receive SMS communications—you (“you,” “your,” or “Customer”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using our Website or engaging our services.

1. Eligibility and Acceptance

1.1 Eligibility – You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use our services.
1.2 Acceptance – Your use of our Website, request for a quote, booking of services, or consent to receive SMS messages constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and any additional policies referenced herein (e.g., our Privacy Policy).

2. Our Services

2.1 Scope – We provide local and long-distance residential and commercial moving, packing, storage, and related services (the “Services”) subject to availability, location, and applicable laws.
2.2 Licensing – Here & Now Movers is fully licensed and insured (USDOT 3426457; MC 1109005).
2.3 Quotes and Estimates – All quotes are based on information you supply. Additional charges may apply for unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extra items, stairs, long carries, oversized or specialty items).
2.4 Scheduling – Service dates and times are estimates. Weather, traffic, or other factors outside our control may cause delays. We will communicate changes promptly.

3. Booking, Deposits, and Payment

3.1 Deposit – A deposit may be required to secure your date. Deposits are credited toward your final bill.
3.2 Payment Methods – We accept major credit cards and other forms of payment as specified on our Website or invoices.
3.3 Final Balance – The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of your move, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.4 Late Payments – Past-due amounts may incur interest at the maximum rate permitted by law plus reasonable collection costs.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

4.1 Customer-Initiated – You may reschedule or cancel up to 72 hours before your move date without penalty. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 72 hours in advance may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
4.2 Company-Initiated – We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel due to unsafe conditions, force majeure events, or non-payment.

5. Customer Responsibilities

• Provide accurate inventory and address information.
• Ensure safe, unobstructed access to pickup and delivery locations.
• Secure valuables, sensitive documents, cash, jewelry, and hazardous materials separately (we are not liable for prohibited items packed without disclosure).
• Obtain any necessary building or parking permits.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 Standard Coverage – Liability for loss or damage is limited to the valuation option you select on our bill of lading or service agreement.
6.2 Excluded Items – We are not liable for items packed by Customer, pre-existing damage, electrical or mechanical derangement of electronics/appliances, or loss caused by acts of God, strikes, or governmental actions.
6.3 Indirect Damages – To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

7. SMS Communication Terms

7.1 Consent

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you expressly consent to receive SMS messages from Here & Now Movers at that number.

7.2 Types of SMS Messages

• Order Updates – Status notifications about quotes, scheduling, pickup, transit, and delivery.

• Reminders – Timely reminders related to upcoming moving services.

• Promotional Messages – Special offers or surveys (only if you have separately opted in).

7.3 Standard Messaging Disclosures

• Message Frequency – Varies based on your interactions and the stage of your move.

• Charges – Standard message and data rates may apply from your carrier.

• Opt-Out – Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe.

• Privacy – We do not sell, rent, release, or transfer your phone number or SMS consent to third parties for their marketing.
