First and foremost, prepare your kitchen

Overall, this is not really hard. All you need to remember is to relocate your kitchen last. Why is this so? Well, you will definitely need a place to prepare food and a place to sleep during your relocation. Unless you are in a position where you can relocate your entire home in one day, then you should leave this for the last day. Because this right here is a vital step in your moving process.

So, you will be doing everything else before this. When it finally comes a time to relocate kitchen cabinets, you will have an easy job doing so. Besides, you will already have relocated all of the other items you have in your home. This is one of the last things you will need to do for your relocation. However, there are two ways to do this and you can find them in the following:

    • Unhinge the screws first. Most kitchen cabinets are held by the screws on the wall. So, what you would want to do is to make sure to get them loose first. If you are not certain about how to do this, you can ask some movers to help you out. Fortunately, some of the finest furniture moving helpers Maryland can do this for you. All you need to do is give us a call and let us know when you need our assistance.
    • Disassemble your cabinets. You should disassemble your larger cabinets for easier relocation. If you have smaller ones, you do not have to do this. After all, you can simply pack them and relocate them as they are. But for some bigger ones, you should definitely do some disassembling.

    How to pack your cabinets?

Packing, on the other hand, is much harder than anything else. First and foremost, you will need to acquire some really good moving and packing supplies. Fortunately for you, you can get all of that from Amazon or eBay. However, you will still need to wait a bit before you can get your items. After all, you are ordering them online.

So, for the best results, you should, in fact, make sure that you order them a few days before you start your packing process. That way, your items should arrive in time for your packing process. In any case, you should be really careful with packing. It will definitely take you a while to pack your entire home. Also, having someone to help you out is a good idea. So, you can either call the pros or some friends. Up to you.

Another thing you will need is to make sure that you can do the job correctly. Sometimes, packing your kitchenware and your kitchen cabinets might be problematic. There will be some things you will need to do before you do anything else as well. For example, you will have to clean and prepare your items for packing.

After all, you cannot simply just pack your kitchen utensils and everything else before cleaning them. You should definitely clean the moving boxes before using them. Also, adding some layers for extra protection is a good idea. As you can see, there are some things you will need to do nevertheless. So, make sure that you do all of that. If you cannot, for any reason, do that – contact someone who can. It is much better than ruining your packing process.

Other things to keep in mind when you wish to relocate kitchen cabinets

As we have said, you should consider calling some professional movers to help you out with this one. There are some really amazing movers Silver Spring MD offers for this. All you need to do is give them a call and they will tell you their terms and conditions. However, when you are calling movers, you can let them know more about your move. Then, they will be able to prepare to help you out in the best possible manner. Communicating with your movers is the key to everything. Think about this one.

Another thing you should be thinking about is having additional storage space. In essence, if you secure some storage options, you can relocate anywhere. Even more, you can place your items in storage way before your moving day. That way, you will be able to relocate without having to worry about most of your items. Simply put, you will be able to bring them back to your home at any given point after that. So, consider getting some amazing storage space, even for your kitchen cabinets. After all, space is really important when it comes to relocation.

Is there anything else to this?

Overall, you can relocate kitchen cabinets in several ways. The safest way, of course, would be to hire professional movers to help you out. First off, Maya in the office is wonderful! We had logistic issues on the original date we were scheduled due to our transport trailer not fitting in the apartment complex loading dock or parking lot. She was able to reschedule us for the next day for the movers to meet at the trailer storage yard to transport our belongings to the complex in their truck instead. She called to check up on us during the move and is a pleasure to work with. The movers; Andrew, Junior and Rolando were also a pleasure to work with. They showed up and got right to work...between unloading the transport into their truck, an hour drive to the complex and bringing up all our stuff to the 7th floor they were done in a little over 3 hours. They were careful with all of our furniture and made sure it was safe from damage during transport and unloading. Couldn't be happier with the service and I definitely recommend them for any type of move you are in need of! When the Army sends us to a new location Here & Now will be on our speed dial!
